The Prophet system operates on Eastern Time. Just after midnight (EDT), you may receive automatic Prophet notifications, reminders, etc IMPORTANT: Any unsubmitted shop in "Overdue" status will also auto-remove from your queue at midnight EST! As a shopper, we ask you to manage your shops and your schedule accordingly. Please ensure the work you commit to doing can be completed on time and submitted within 24 hours of the shop.
Rescheduling Shop Dates: As situations arise, your accepted visits' Chosen Dates can often be rescheduled yourself (within the project parameters). We ask that you manage your own accepted visits and attempt to reschedule your own shops' dates where it is permitted, before asking our staff for help in doing so for you (2 cumulative attempts to reschedule are often permitted on a particular visit).
IMPORTANT: Your scheduler may also be unable to reschedule a shop for you if it has been rescheduled too many times already, it is too late in the project, the visit was dropped and already picked up by another shopper, etc., so please manage your workload accordingly.
ISSUES SUBMITTING PHOTOS VIA TABLET or SMARTPHONE? Please note that many features of the Prophet reporting system are fully functional via devices such as tablets and smartphones, but some may not be. Submitting reports in Prophet using some tablets or smartphones may not yet be possible! Some devices will not allow users to attach any photo files to reports, while others may cause data entry or validations to show improperly.
Please note, some devices will often allow you to do ALL functions of submitting your report, except for attaching photo files. After you attach your first photo, it will not allow any further due to the form thinking you are adding the same photo more than once (since you cannot rename the files in your device usually). If this occurs, we ask that you simply save all of your entered DATA (not photos, as they do not 'Save') and send all required photos to a PC/Mac to then rename and attach, then finish by clicking SUBMIT from there instead of the device. We advise using caution when accessing Prophet via a tablet/smartphone, and if you experience any issues submitting a report, we ask that you attempt to submit using a PC/Mac instead.
Insula is pleased to announce that as of April 2013 all shopper pay will now be paid via PayPal!! IMPORTANT: Please be sure to update your shopper profile to add your PayPal email address, if you have not entered one yet. If you do not have a PayPal account yet, simply go to www.paypal.com to get started (it's quick and easy!). PayPal payments are made on the 15th of each month for all work submitted in the prior month (if the 15th falls on a Sunday, payments are made on Monday). As of May 2013, preferred eligibility will also be given to those who have a PayPal email address on file for payments.
NO VISITS IN YOUR AREA or NOT ELIGIBLE? Please keep in mind that if there are no available shops listed in your area at this time, to check back soon and often. Sometimes visits in some areas may even show and you are noted as "not eligible." This could be due to several things, such as proximity to the location, auditing experience, etc. However, the system often releases shops to shoppers in batches, so you still could be "eligible" for the shop(s) once the system releases the shop(s) to the public. The status of projects and available locations changes rapidly, so be sure to check out our homepage regularly for updates, changes, and more shops as they become available (assignments are typically first come-first served). NOTE: In order for you to be 'ELIGIBLE' to see/accept ANY shops for Insula, we are required to have a Social Security Number, or EIN/TIN/SIN/RF, in your profile, or in our HR records offline, for tax purposes. Please be sure you have this information in your shopper profile so you can see/accept all shops available, or if preferred, contact us for arrangements to keep this information offline by our HR Department and still become eligible.
Your Default PASSWORD: Just a reminder that once you are registered with Insula via the Prophet system, you may login with your email address used to sign up. Your password by default will be the first 2 letters of your last name followed by the last 4 digits of your home phone number (e.g. sm1344).
SCAM WARNINGS TO ALL SHOPPERS:
- It has come to our attention that a scam on Craigslist regarding a "MoneyGram" mystery shop is using the Insula Research name and requesting personal information be sent via email. This is a scam and in no way affiliated with Insula Research, please do not send any personal information regarding this post. Insula Research would never require you to send personal information via email for a mystery shop such as this (any required personal information is securely stored by you in our Prophet system within your shopper profile).
- Also, a company calling themselves Rapid-M InsulaCorp (www.insulacorp.net) has been mailing out checks, asking people to conduct mystery shop assignments. Please be advised that Insula Research, Inc., is not affiliated with Rapid-M Insula Corp in any way.
